Take part in a unique art adventure where you will become a character of the story that merges cinema, theater and contemporary art in the diverse and unexpected Bagebi Microrayoni.
For two days, during August 31 - September 1, Bagebi turned into the urban and cultural hub - hosting art interventions carried out by the artists from Georgia, Poland and all around the world who will came together with local residents to intervene in the urban space through performances, installations, workshops, and via a myriad of other forms of expression.
First carried out in the Betlemi District (2009), the project became a source of inspiration for the Georgian pavilion as part of the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Venice in 2013.
What exactly is the Artwalk?
An experimental multimedia exhibition of contemporary art transforming the city into a theater and its visitors - into the characters of the story;
How the Artwalk was designed?
The route of the artwalk consists of various stations - inviting a group of 2 people at the time to locations turned into artistic hubs around the Bagebi Microrayoni.
How did it work?
- Each group of 2 visitors was sent to engage in the artwalk together.
- The first group of the artwalk embarked on the journey at 12:00, the final one - at 20:00.
- The break was scheduled between 15:00 to 17:00
- The full duration of the artwalk for one group is 2-2.5hrs.
