Co-create with us the Open Art Space in Tbilisi - independent, friendly and safe place for local NGOs, neighbors, international artists and everybody else!
In 2023 our organization - One Caucasus NGO - the Tbilisi-based Non-profit Organization (our team is responsible for organizing One Caucasus Program and Festival and for starting the Participatory Budgets Program in Georgia) was looking for the friendly space in Tbilisi - the place where non-profit independent art and civic organizations / initiatives could use for free as venue for their open-to-public events and for work.
We couldn’t find any. Hence in a couple of months together with partners from 11 countries across Europe we created a coalition called “OASis - Open Art Spaces in Synergy”, we wrote an application to the European Union Program: Creative Europe and we won the grant.
So now we are very happy to invite you to take part in the joint planning of the first such place in Tbilisi - the Open Art Space that we hope to be an independent, friendly, safe place for local organizations, neighbors, international artists and everybody else.

The Urban Reconnaissance led by Lorenzo Tripodi from Tesserae. Urban Social Research (Germany/Italy) - together we will explore the neighborhood and get inspired to create unique Open Art Space in Tbilisi.

In these participatory planning workshops led by Witek Hebanowski & Polina Vietrova from The Other Space Foundation (Poland) - we will define the most important needs and plan the key functions of the future Open Art Space.

- How Will It Work? What Will it Look Like?
In the final workshops we will plan together multifunctional spaces of the Open Art Space and create the plan of action to make OASis live.
